Workflow C: Share a File or Artifact

You have an HTML file, PDF, deck, or Claude artifact and want to share it with your team.

Via CLI

grid plug ./q2-deck.pdf

When the target is a file (not a directory with a cloudgrid.yaml), the CLI creates an inspiration:

q2-deck is live at https://your-org.cloudgrid.io/q2-deck

Supported file types: HTML, React (single-file), Markdown, PDF, PPTX, DOCX, XLSX, images, code files, JSON, video, audio, text, Jupyter notebooks, CSV.

Via MCP (from Claude or other AI tools)

See MCP Integration for setup. Once configured, ask your AI assistant:

“Drop this HTML onto CloudGrid, visible to anyone with the link, expires in 30 days.”

Inspiration defaults

• Expires in 30 days unless pinned
• Visibility defaults to org (your team members can see it)
• The Brain auto-generates a description and icon after upload
